Consider this: you don’t necessarily need to use this old dresser AS a dresser.
You could toss the body of the piece and then use the drawers to construct a cool and modern-looking shelving unit that can store books, bins, toys, clothes, shoes…anything!
Check out what this WiseDIYer executed by simply stacking the drawers in formation that he liked, using the pre-drilled handle holes to connect the drawers wherever possible and then literally just giving it one coat of primer and leaving it as-is for an unfinished look.
This is now some VERY useful storage! Sturdy, cool looking and of course, practical.
Very well done! Of course, you could paint yours with a full paint job.
Have you ever repurposed part of a piece of furniture? What did you do?
Thank you to brackwho for this amazing idea and for the pics!
Love it.

I have a dresser where all the drawers are the same height but I plan on using my kitchen drawers when I remodel and I have two deep ones and three shallow ones. Looking forward to very unique wall storage instead of a wall cabinet.
Good creative solution!
