2 Ingredient Grout Cleaner For A Sparkling Bathroom

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup baking soda
  • 1/4 cup bleach

practicallyfunctional

Directions:

  1. Mix the baking soda and bleach together to form a thick paste.
  2. Using a toothbrush, apply the paste to the dirty grout and let it sit for about 10 minutes.  (This will do most of the work.)
  3. Using the toothbrush, work the paste into the grout to get it in deeper and let it sit another 5-10 minutes.
  4. Rinse.
  5. Keep in mind that grout is slightly darker when it is wet so don’t fully judge the results until it completely dry.
  6. That’s it!

Caution:  Keep in mind that you are using straight bleach so you need to protect your skin and your clothes.  Wear clothing that can possibly get bleach spots on it. Gloves, safety glasses and a well-ventilated room are all recommended.

Hope this helps you get your bathroom sparkling clean!
