I cannot even begin to imagine how many egg shells get thrown away every day. Think of all the homes, restaurants, hotels…that is a LOT of eggshells!
What you may not know is that eggshells have many uses! For instance, did you know that eggshells are made of calcium carbonate which is an active ingredient in antacids! You can actually grind up an egg shell and take it as a calcium supplement!
They are also a perfect item to toss into your compost bin, but there are so many other things you could be DOING and MAKING with them, as well.
