You really can’t go wrong with a big mirror in pretty much any room. It is the only thing that takes up space AND makes the room look bigger at the same time. Problem is, finding the right one can be hard and once you do, they are EXPENSIVE.
This is a great project where you can customize the perfect mirror and DIY it for a small fraction of the cost of buying one in a store. That is IF you could find one this cool in a store at all.
You will have to get out your tools for this one but this is a straightforward project and no special skills required.
Materials:
- Cheap mirror
- Picket fence slats
- 1/4′ underlayment
- Waterproof silicone
- wood glue
- nail gun
- clamps
