Have you ever seen anyone add knobs to mason jar lids?
Well, you will today.
Materials:
- Assorted mason jars
- Acrylic paint
- foam brushes
- Multi-purpose sealer
- drill
- assorted knobs (Look at Anthropolgie for the best ones!)
Directions:
First you are going to paint all your mason jar lids. 2 coats should do it, but you be the judge.
Let dry and then apply sealer.
When they are thoroughly dry, drill holes in the lids and screw in the knobs.
That’s it!
Put some colorful (or monochromatic) odds and ends in the jars and leave everything on display.
What is your favorite mason jar project? I have so many. I put some of my favorite super-simple ones together in this post here. Check them out!
Thank you to decoart for this awesome mason jar idea! See their site for more pics and details.

I had an old glass knob from an old dresser. I adhered it to a canning lid, no ring to unthread, and keep my Splenda packets in it, as a result of this idea. I haven’t decided if I want to paint the lid or leave au natural.
Love this
Thank you
