The result is so beautiful that I cannot believe it was made from such simple materials and not created by Mother Nature herself!
Geodes are a wonderful way to add sparkle, shine and color to any room in the house. This is a wonderful craft for kids and adults alike and the materials are not costly but the result looks very expensive. (Real geodes can easily be hundreds, even thousands of dollars!!)

Where do you get the alum???
You could find it at grocery stores (w/spices) or somewhere that sells canning supplies. The type she uses in the video is on amazon. You can also order it in larger packs there.
