He Gave These Carpeted Stairs An Incredible (and QUICK) Makeover!

The secret ingredient to this makeover is called Retro Tread.

Retro Tread gives you an easy way to remodel carpeted stairs into beautiful hardwood.

The procedure is to remove all the carpet.  (This can be the toughest part because of all the staples.  Be patient!)

Next you may need to cover the risers in MDF to clean them up.

Then comes the install of the Retro Tread.  These will be stained, cut to measure and simply installed.  You can even use them on the landings.

Pretty darn impressive for a DIY stair makeover. Looks totally professional but doesn’t cost NEARLY as much!
