It's WISE to DIY: Thrify Ideas for the Do-It-Yourselfer

He Is Drilling Into A Shutter That Will Never Be Installed Onto A Window–Something Much More Handy!

You can find an old shutter perhaps in your own garage but for sure at a flea market.

Give it a fresh coat of paint and deck it out with clips and hooks to hold whatever you want to have on hand in the kitchen.

You can also do a similar hack using pegboard.  Pegboard is a wonderful way to organize tools in the garage so why not bring it inside?

If you like the shutter idea, try also using it for organizing keys, mail and reminders!

Joanna Smith, Kay Smith, some cute ideas.

  2. I like what my husband did. He put three of them together where they would not move. Put it up as a wall. Then he put the other three together and put them on a track so that it slides, put a knob so you can slide it open an close. My husband put it up between the kitchen and the step down family room. We love it. We do not see the kitchen table and the noise from the other t.v. doesn’t interfere with ours.

  3. Would love to see a pic, that sounds like a great idea!
