There are certain activites that just wreak havoc on the soles of your shoes. One of them is skateboarding (which I am guessing this DIY is doing based on the type of shoes he is repairing).
If you have your tire, first cut all the way down into it till you feel the metal, cut out a big strip.
Get out your materials:
Then do an outline of your shoe so you know where to stand on it after you put the glue on:Use the glue to affix the tire strip to your shoe:
Cut off all the excess:
Voila!
Just saved yourself at least $40!
