He Upcycles This Pallet Wood Into Something Vintage And Patriotic!

First he dismantled the pallets and then washed them really well with bleach and detergent.  Pallets can be very dirty with mold and dirt so if you do not have a power washer, you will need some elbow grease.

(Also, always check the stamps on pallets to see where they have come from and to know if they have been chemically treated.  Protect yourself and your family.)

After he power washed the wood, he assembled it into a rectangle or what he refers to as his “canvas”.

Then he paints the flag but uses the orbital sander to distress the paint.

The finished product is just SO COOL!
