It's WISE to DIY: Thrify Ideas for the Do-It-Yourselfer

I Am Running To Get Copper Pipes After Seeing What She Made! I’ll Bet You Need One Of These, Too!

Here is what you need to do to make your gorgeous COPPER PIPE TABLET HOLDER:

Materials:

According to abubblylife:
-1/2 inch Copper pipe (I purchased 5 feet, which was the smallest length available)
-Tubing Cutter

All to fit 1/2 inch piping-
-2- 90 degree elbows
-2 street elbows
-2 tees
-4 pipe caps

-Glue-Elmer’s Pro Bond Advanced

You can also solder the pipes together but the glue works as well if soldering is out of your area of expertise.

DIRECTIONS:

1. Glue the 8″ to the 6″ and the street elbows.

2. Glue the 4″ and the 1″ pieces to the T.

  1. Deborah Pope says:

You can just as easily use pvc

  2. Once you pay for all the supplies using copper pipe, you would spend less money buying the finished product from Pottery Barn. PVC pipe would make it cheaper to make.

  3. great craft idea for a child tomake for someone for Christmas, yes,PVC pipe is cheaper and you could paint it to the person’s favorite color
