All you are going to do is make a few small balls of aluminum foil and lay them in the bottom of the Crock Pot.
Prepare your whole chicken as you normally would with whatever herb and spices you like and play the whole chicken on top of the foil balls.
This will prevent the chicken from sitting in its own juices and getting soggy.
Cook at low for 6 1/2-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours. Serve with veggies.
Some have said that the skin even turns out crispy! (Please let us know if you get this result!)
Now you can make your own rotisserie chicken at home while you are at work or busy doing other things!

Great idea
I could hear Tristan screaming already that would be awsome
this did not work.
Wonder if it’s better than the $4.99 chicken at Costco???
Not safe to do. Here’s why: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/the-conversation-africa/why-you-shouldnt-wrap-you_b_9622502.html
