Supplies:
- Kerr Mason Jars (they have a plain glass finish with no bumpy letters)
- contact paper
- Gold or silver Krylov “Looking Glass” spray paint
- scissors
- rubbing alcohol
Directions:
First clean the jar with alcohol.
Cut out the design you want to do (such as an apple or a maple leaf) from he contact paper and adhere to the jar. Make sure there are no air bubbles.
Spray the jar several times with light coats allowing them to dry in between each coat.
Peel off the contact paper.
Voila!
Fill it for gifts. (This could obviously be turned into a Christmas theme, too!)
Check it out with a maple leaf cut out. She used fall colors in acrylic matt paint for a more earthy look:
Do you have an even better fall mason jar? We would sure love to see it!
Thank you to infarrantlycreative for this great idea! See their site for more pics!
