Have you ever been the lucky recipient of an ugly piece of furniture that you hated but really needed?  It’s kind of the worst.

True story, when we first moved in to our house, I actually bought the UGLIEST brown couch off a friend who had previously bought it off Craig’s List (how bad is that?) and we lived with that nasty piece of furniture for like 5 years.  Man, I hated that couch but I was a prisoner to it!
