Materials:
- Any throw pillow, covered or uncovered
- Fabric of your choice cut to a size 3X as wide and 2X as tall as the pillow
- Pinking shears (to cut the fabric so that it will not fray)
Directions:
- Lie the fabric flat (good side down) and place the pillow on the fabric in the center.
- Fold the bottom of the fabric up to the center of the pillow then fold the top down to meet the bottom fold. (Like you are wrapping a gift.)
- With the sides that are laid out to the side, fold them in to make a triangle on both ends. Make sure the fabric stays nice and tight and smooth around the pillow. Like so:
- Now take those triangle pieces and fold them over the top of the pillow so they overlap.
- Tie the ends in a square knot. Like so:
- Tuck in the flaps to make the knot nice and clean.
You can always put the knot in the back if you want the pillow plain in the front.
And how easy is it to wash these pillow covers as needed?
These are just awesome! Have you made no-sew pillows before? How did you do it?
If you like these no-sew pillows, you will love these no-sew blankets, too!
Thank you to sowelustudio for this awesome tutorial! You can see their site for more pictures if needed.
