Water color paints are a wonderful art medium for kids and adults. For kids, they are a gentle start to the world of painting and for adults, you can create with water colors in a way that other types of paint do not really allow.

This is a really fun project for kids to help with, too. Especially because another great thing about these paints is that they are mostly non-toxic. (I say “mostly” since we don’t want the kids eating food coloring, but if they ingested some, it would be okay.)
