I have so much experience with this type of packaging that my mother-in-law actually bought us a tool that was made to tackle this job. It’s like this heavy orange scissors/garden trimmer gadget and guess what? It doesn’t really get the job done.
NO worries! You’re solution is to use your trustee can opener! Go all around the edges of the package (going backwards as needed) and then just open it up!

How do you get the can opener out of its package. Jk I tried this and it worked good
