The idea of a fairy garden is simply lovely because not only can you plant the fresh herbs that you want to have on hand in your backyard but also, you are giving the kids a living outdoor activity for them to play with and participate in.
I know my kids would have hours of fun with this little garden, decorating it with figures and tending to the herbs. With this little garden, everyone wins!
The fairy garden pictured here was made by repurposing an old Step 2 Water Table. You could certainly use a old plastic baby pool or any shallow weather-resistant vessel.
What a wonderful way to re-purpose an old toy that would have ended up in a land fill!
Send us your pics of this project and share!
