It's WISE to DIY: Thrify Ideas for the Do-It-Yourselfer

She Blows On Paint With Straws And The Effect Is Just Incredible!

When we were little I always remember a painting that my older brother had made in school.  It was so special that my mom had put it in a nice frame and it hung in our home for probably 20 years.

It was one made with this straw-blowing technique!  So you can imagine when I found this tutorial, I just had to share.

Take a look at what you can create with nothing but your paints and a straw:

The one my brother had made was only with black and he blew the paint into a tree, branches and all.  I wish I could post a picture of it!

Do this on your own or with the kids.  Can’t mess this one up.

Was there a kid’s project that stood the test of time in your home?
