I recognized the kind of non-slip mat she uses in this craft because it is the same kind of mat that I use to line all my kitchen shelves and drawers.
I have never seen anyone craft with this stuff but when I saw what she made, I was SO IMPRESSED!
This is a simple craft that is perfect to do while you watch your favorite show. Check it out on the next page…

Brittany Nicole Stacks Tasha Duke Deb Hyatt Mason Carolyn Stotts here is a neat idea. I think I’m going to try it
Don’t know what is non-slip about it. Used it for 10 yrs. in drawers and on shelves, always pulling it back into place. Hope this is a better use for it.
I was thinking it’s too small for a rug. Cute ides though.
Cute project but I would have used yarn instead
Why not use a latch hook or crochet hook to pull it thru? Cutting fabric on the bias will stop lots of raveling and allow for washing the rug.
I can’t see What she cut…(-:
Love it
I would use a crochet hook instead of the wooden pick to pull the material through.

Can I put this in those wooden circles that crafters use to do needle point
Great Idea , thanks
I use no slip mats in my camper cabinets. Keeps stuff from moving too much when the camper is in motion.
Cute idea!
I used it to make a placemat for when my husband went to eat in public. It embarrassed him for me to cut his meat for him. Gave back some of his dignity. No one knew except us. Plate stayed still for him. Just fold it up and keep it in your pocket or purse. Machine washable too!

Love her idea! This nonslip material is great to open jars with. Just cut a square or rectangle piece of it ; then wrap around the lid and then turn. It should come off with ease.
I would use a crochet hook to pull the ribbon or yarn through
Oh no, uh uh, nope, I’ll pass.
Way too time-consuming I don’t have that kind of time in my life and I’m retired I take care of my parents and my grandchildren
Agreed
So true
