She Cuts A Heart Out Of This Non-Slip Mat and Then Makes Something ADORABLE!!

I recognized the kind of non-slip mat she uses in this craft because it is the same kind  of mat that I use to line all my kitchen shelves and drawers.

I have never seen anyone craft with this stuff but when I saw what she made, I was SO IMPRESSED!

  1. Use more pieces of the rubber liner and glue together (matching the holes), for a bigger rug. Once the rug is completed, add hot glue to the back to secure and stabelize.

  5. My husband was wheelchair bound and history would slide forward. A piece on the seat kept him in place…lol! No more sliding.

  9. The nonslip stuff comes in various thicknesses. It can be used as an accent rug without any problem. Besides everything wears out eventually… Can’t save everything right?

  12. I keep small squares (about 5 x 5) of that in my kitchen as bottle grippers…. can open any jar or bottle with them!!

  14. This type of shelf liner can also be made into very handy jar grippers. Just cut out a circle about a hand width. Works great!!!

  19. I used a bit of it glued under my cast after foot surgery. While I couldn’t put weight on my foot, this shelf liner kept my foot from slipping out from under me when I set it on the floor.
    Also, we use it as a texture mat on some of our pottery pieces.

  33. This is basically a latch hook craft. Instead of yarn you are using material.

  34. I just love it when family hooks up like this so unexpectedly. I hope you people are related and are blessed by being so.

  35. I use it to hold our toaster, coffee pot, vacuum packer, tooth paste, tooth brush, mouth wash and other items on top of cabinets in place when we are pulling our fifth wheel down the highway. This way we do not have to move everything to the floor anymore when traveling.
