The thing I love so much about this method is that it doesn’t involve using ANY heat at all. The trouble with a heat method is that, if it works well, you will want to do it frequently and then you are damaging your hair.
Not the case here.
Check out how she does it:

Great idea
OKAY HUNEY, I AM 70. WE HAVE BEEN DOING THESE ALL MY LIFE. THEY ARE CALLED PINCURLS. (PINS). WE QUIT DOING IT BECAUSE THEY ARE UNCOMFORTABLE TO SLEEP ON AND SOME BRILLIANT PERSON INVENTED A CURLING IRON OR HOT ROLLERS, TO DO IT QUICKLY, SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO SLEEP ON THE LUMPS ALL NIGHT. DON’T NEED THE GOO, IF YOU DO IT WHEN YOUR HAIR IS WET AND LET IT DRY ALL NIGHT.
In the “old days” they used “Dippity Do” for their pin curls.
I would have loved to see this video but couldn’t access. I don’t know the proper way to do it like Ms. True apparently does. Thank you for sharing. I appreciate it.
Why so negative? Lighten up.
