Love this. How do you take it off from the window? Is it easy? I’m in a rental and can’t make permanent changes or leave it when I move. I would like to do this on a couple Windows to provide privacy but let the sun in. I was thinking of doing it 2/3 of the way up the window and with a lace or maybe burlap that you can’t see through very well. Thank you! Kathie

I did this a while back with a printed fabric, you have to do 2 layers though to get both right sides and full coverage. Darker fabrics are also room darkening for those working nigt shifts and the enitre thing is removable when you are ready to change out or move on.

Wondering how long it lasts? How do you remove it when you want to??
    Really like this idea.

  11. Sounds like a very cool idea. Just don’t put it on windows that are notorious for sweating (condensation). Though I’ve never tried this, I could imagine the condensation would cause the lace to peel back. Anyone who has done this have this issue?

  12. Ralph Nelson says:

    Nothing to see but ads.

How easily does it come off and what do you use to remove it?

Question-how do you take this off when you move out of your apartment or decide to put something else up? Soap and water or water?
