This DIY is quick, easy, fun and cheap.  What could be better!?

If you have any windows in your home or apartment where you want the natural light but need a little privacy, this is a truly lovely solution.

Granted, it is a bit feminine but I am wondering how we can use this idea and make it masculine, as well…

  5. Saw this earlier, was thinking for the bathrooms. Hate having to draw the shades to go potty when it is nice and sunny out!

  6. Elmer;s glue with a tad of yellow food coloring works too. When you don’t want it on any longer just peel it off. Can use other colors to created a stained glass effect.

    I think it’s the same thing- I believe it is made by Rubbermaid. It really does work rather well.

    I have been cleaning my window with cornstarch for many years no strike to rub out leaves the glass sparkle clean in scence

    I put it in a bowl and use a dish rag fast fast clean windows gt of water and a handful of starch and donw

  17. They have window cling at Lowe’s and Home Depot that you put on with water and it comes in many styles. Just peels off when you don’t want it any more.

  18. When we were in south TX, where it never snows, we used to mix the cornstarch paste a little thicker and “paint” piles of snow in the corners of the windows with snowflakes falling down. Made us feel a little less homesick at Christmas.

    What happens when the window sweats or gets steamy if used in a bathroom? Seems like the stuff would get damp and soggy then grow mold?? I like the look though

      I would love to do this to my bathroom, but was wondering at night when lights are on can you see thru the window with the lace and cornstarch? My window is big and I use mini blinds. thanks for your answer in advance. Yvonne

    alternate the squares, using Seahawk colors and it would be great for a boys room, use tulle.

  32. you can actually wash modge podge too correct? Where as cornstarch would just disolve.

    Find some of the lace type material that has deer or bear or wolves in it. Use it so the Male will feel more masculine.
