She Is Melting and Ironing Crayon Shavings For The Most Lovely Valentine’s Day Craft!!

VALENTINE’S DAY HEART MOBILE

According to littleinspiration, here is what you need:

Yarn or thread
Kraft paper
Crayons (Peeled)
Pencil sharpener
Wax paper
Safe scissors for kids
Electric iron
A piece of branch

You are basically going to be shaving crayons over a piece of wax paper and then ironing those shavings onto a piece of craft paper with the wax paper in between your craft paper and iron.

Then the kids will cut out heart shapes out of the craft paper to form the hanging mobile items.

Then poke a hole in the top of each heart and string to a branch using yarn or threads.

  1. We did this 55 years ago, and Mom taped them to the windows!

  2. We used to put crayon shavings between freezer paper & wax paper.
