Now you have your perfectly marbled circle of 1/4″ clay rolled out. Peel it off and place it over your ramekin, shaping exactly as you want it to bake:
Now, into the oven it goes at 275 degrees for 15 minutes. Take it out and let it cool and then paint the edge with your gilding paint. Here is where the magic happens:
The gold really makes these bowls come to life, right?
Allow it to dry and fill them with any odds/ends that need a home. They are so pretty that it just seems right to put jewelry in them.
