She Painted These Bricks Bright Colors And Built Something That Transformed Her Backyard!

There are plenty of ways to build a fire pit.  This way is one of the cleverest I have seen and also one of the most fun.

NOTE:  Do not use GRAVEL in the fire pit.  It can explode under the heat conditions.  Sand is a MUCH better choice.

Directions:

Paint your bricks!  (Or not…up to you.)

Then stack them in formation.  (She did not even use mortar to seal them together.  Obviously, you could, but bricks are heavy enough to be stable without it.  If there are kids running around who like to destroy things, mortar would be a good idea.)

Add your base of sand, light it up and get out the s’mores ingredients as fast as possible.
