With some MDF, poster board, a circle cutter (about $20 at Hobby Lobby), a staple gun and some spray paint, you can make a big piece of art for your wall that will make your whole room come to life.
Cut the MDF down to the size you want and then cut up LOTS of poster board circles.
You can try to spray paint them first but they do tend to fly around so spray painting after they have been stapled is perhaps better. (Or you could get some of that fluorescent poster board and skip the spray paint all together. That would be a cute idea for a teen room.)
Before you begin stapling, draw lines to make sure you stay on target with your stapling.
When you are done stapling, on goes the spray paint and then trim of your choice to finish it off. It looks incredible up on the wall!
Have you ever DIYed wall art that you loved? Please tell us what you did!
