It's WISE to DIY: Thrify Ideas for the Do-It-Yourselfer

The Best And LAZIEST Way To Clean Your Silver – Tarnish Disappears Before Your Eyes!

Now that you have all your tools and supplies, here is what you are going to do:

  • Bring the water to a boil.
  • If you are using a glass vessel, line the whole thing with aluminum foil.
  • Add the baking soda to the pan and then add the vinegar (slowly, there will be a slight bubbling reaction)
  • Add the boiling water to the vinegar and baking soda.
  • Using your tongs, place your silverware or jewelry into the pan.  Make sure the pieces do not overlap.  Each piece needs to lie flat on the foil.
  • 30 seconds should be sufficient but if you have heavily tarnished pieces, you can leave them in for a few minutes.
  • Use the tongs to remove the pieces and use a rag to buff off any remaining spots.
  • Behold the incredible results!
