TISSUE PAPER VOTIVES
Supplies:
According to homemadeserenity:
A recycled glass jar (We used a washed out pickle jar)
White and red tissue paper
Scissors
Liquid starch
Craft brushes
Newspaper
A container to hold your liquid starch
Directions:
- Cut or tear out pieces of white tissue paper in to small squares.
- Paint on the liquid starch and place the tissue all over the jar.
- While it is still wet, cut out little red hearts and place those over the tissue paper.
- Add more starch as needed and keep applying the hearts till you like the way it looks. they can and should overlap a bit.
So pretty!
You can do this on plain glass votives as well like you see in the photo above.
Do you have a Valentine’s Day craft you like to do with your kids?
