This Pickle Jar Gets Lots Of Valentine’s Day Love!

TISSUE PAPER VOTIVES

Supplies:

According to homemadeserenity:

A recycled glass jar (We used a washed out pickle jar)
White and red tissue paper
Scissors
Liquid starch
Craft brushes
Newspaper
A container to hold your liquid starch

Directions:

  1. Cut or tear out pieces of white tissue paper in to small squares.
  2. Paint on the liquid starch and place the tissue all over the jar.
  3. While it is still wet, cut out little red hearts and place those over the tissue paper.
  4. Add more starch as needed and keep applying the hearts till you like the way it looks. they can and should overlap a bit.

So pretty!

You can do this on plain glass votives as well like you see in the photo above.
