It's WISE to DIY: Thrify Ideas for the Do-It-Yourselfer

This Simple Cement Mold Is Actually Something Incredibly Cool!!

GOLD DIPPED CONCRETE CANDLE and VASE

Supplies:

According to little inspiration:

A Small bag of Ready To Mix concrete mix (Costs about $1.99)
Several Paper Cups in the same size
Unscented Votive Candles Smaller In Size that can fit into the paper cups.
Fresh Flowers
Paint, Painter’s or washi tape, paint brush

Gold metallic paint and brush

Directions:

  1. Mix the concrete according to the instructions.
  2. Fill the cups with concrete about 2/3 of the way.  Place the votive in the center.  You will need to place something of weight on top of the candle to prevent it from floating to the top.
  3. Let dry 48 hours.
  4. Peel off the cup.
  5. Use your wash tape to make a diagonal line around the candle and paint the bottom gold.
  6. After the candle has burned away, you can use it for flowers.

These are just so  pretty!
