Turns Out That Putting The Glitter IN The Jar Has A Beautiful And Calming Effect!

GLITTER RELAXATION JARS

Materials:

  • Glitter (LOTS OF KINDS)
  • Mason Jars
  • School glue
  • Glycerine
  • Whisk
  • Food coloring
  • Sparkly paper for the lid (optional)

So basically we have made a sort of snow globe with just the glitter.  It really does calm the mind to watch it!

Also, they look beautiful on a shelf or table.

  2. I made these in little water jars for my kids in the Life Skills program. They are calming and they are a time-out timer. It helps to calm them while they are in time out and when all the glitter settles, the child comes out of time out.
