It's WISE to DIY: Thrify Ideas for the Do-It-Yourselfer

Vases And Jars From The Dollar Store Never Looked So PRETTY!!

Next time you go to the Dollar Store, stroll the aisles and look for all the assorted vases, glasses and jars you can find.  Then mix in a few various mason jars and that should do it.

You will also need some white acrylic paint.

According to itallstartedwithpaint:

1. Start with an assortment of dollar store vases. I found mine at Dollar Tree.

2. Add some water to acrylic paint and pour into the bottom of the vase.

3. Slowly turn the vase to coat the sides with paint; pour excess out.

4. Turn upside down to dry.

So simple but look at how pretty!

Nice but I have more vases than I know what to do with.

  2. Very creative and easy for kids to do.

  3. Tori Harrell says:

    Just spray paint them.

  4. Shirley Bell says:

Never thought of this- have used pretty napkins and mod podge on some though to decorate them for different occasions.

  5. Won’t the paint then leech out into the water and be harmful to the contents of the vase?
