It's WISE to DIY: Thrify Ideas for the Do-It-Yourselfer

What Mom Did To These Holes Is The Cutest Thing EVER!!

Ever consider turning those holes into monster mouths?  Probably not!  That’s why we’re here. You’re welcome.

Materials:

  • colored t-shirt fabric
  • white felt
  • colored embroidery thread
  • scissors
  • fabric glue

Directions:

  1. Cut off the frayed parts of the holes.
  2. Cut a piece of the t-shirt fabric 2X as big as the hole.
  3. Cut out the teeth with white felt.
  4. You can use fabric glue to glue the teeth to the t-shirt fabric.
  5. Line it all up inside the jeans and sew it with your colored embroidery thread, going around twice.
  6. Make 2 X’s for the eyes.

Done!

Check out how cute!

It is so adorable.  The t-shirt fabric adds a nice stretchiness to the knees, too.

Have you ever gotten creative with old jeans before?  Please tell us what you did!

Thank you to artbarblog for this awesome tutorial!
