It's WISE to DIY: Thrify Ideas for the Do-It-Yourselfer

What She Makes With These Supplies Makes Grocery Shopping More Fun!

Supplies:

According to abeautifulmess.com:

wool felt (I used the mineral and hot pink colors.)
plain canvas bag
-fabric scissors
-fabric glue

Directions:

  1. Trace and cut out letters that are 3″-4″ tall.
  2. Using fabric glue, affix the letters to the bag.  Be sure to apply the glue away from the edges of the letters so that when you push the felt letters down onto the bag, the glue doesn’t ooze out the sides.
  3. Complete the words and let dry completely.

Obviously, you could write whatever you wanted on your custom shopping tote but I sure do love the expression “OH, KALE NO!”  That is right up my alley.

What would your personalized shopping tote say?

Thank you to abeautifulmess for this great tutorial! See their site for more pics and details.
