What we are making here are DIY dryer sheets!

Supplies:

  • Washable paper towels (eHow doesn’t specify what kind but I found these on Amazon and I think they are the right ones.)
  • Vinegar
  • Essential oil of your choice
  • Mason jar

Directions:

  1. Cut up the towels into squares (about 6″)
  2. Mix 1/2 cup of vinegar and 8 drops of essential oil in a cup.
  3. Put the towels into the mason jar and pour the vinegar/oil mixture over it.
  4. Seal tight for storage.
  5. Throw a fresh one in with ever dyer load.

There is really no reason at all to spend your hard-earned money on expensive and toxic dryer sheets.  Trust me, you clothes smell TOO strong and that fragrance is NOT good for you.  Sorry, just being honest!
