With These Supplies, She Makes This Mason Jar SO GORGEOUS!!

ANTIQUED AND DISTRESSED GOLD MASON JARS

Supplies:

• Gold spray paint
• White chalky paint
• Country Chic Gold Wax
• Brushes
• Mason Jar

The first step is spray painting the jar gold and letting it dry completely.  (It will look fabulous after this very first step but don’t stop there!)

Then apply a coat of the chalk paint and let it dry for about 30 minutes.

With a slightly damp rag, distress the raised edges of the jar and a little bit all over to reveal the gold paint underneath.

A final coat of gold wax and some buffing will do the trick after that.  Leave a bit of the wax on.  It will take a while to dry and not remain sticky but the look is worth it.
