Summer is coming and what better time to start chopping up all your t’s? But HOW??
I have ruined more than one decent shirt by chopping in the wrong place or going to far, so I love this simple tutorial that shows you exactly how to create this super-cute heart effect that looks great with another tee underneath it of even just over a bathing suit. All you need is:
- t-shirt
- CHALK to make sure you get it right!
- scissors
All you need to do is: First, draw the heart right in the center of the shirt, then draw the pedals coming out of the heart, like so:

(Don’t draw the pedals too close. The fabric will roll up where the cuts are bringing the pedals closer together than how you cut them, so leave some room.)
Now it’s time to cut out each pedal.
Voila!
