As I write this post I can see out of the corner of my eyes PILES of old magazines that I do not know what to do with. I love the color and graphic look of magazine pages, I have even been known to tape together some pages ripped from magazines and use them to wrap gifts. (Try this! Stick to the pages that have bright color and preferably not ads, but fashion editorial stuff–it looks super cool!)
Anyway, I digress.
I found this great tutorial on how to make some very cool wall art with old magazines. It is very a simple craft that yields a personal and unique result so needless to say, I love it!
The images you can make are obviously limitless. Which ones can you see in your home?
Here is what you will need:
Materials:
– magazines
– canvas/wood/board
– hot glue sticks
– pattern
– tape
Tools:
– hot glue gun
– scissors
There is so much fun and art to be made with this project. Please show us what you come up with and tell us any other great ways you know of to repurpose magazines.
